The waiting area of this place is large and often times children outnumber adults, which can be a little loud and overwhelming. However, all of the desk and medical staff I have had contact with has been exceptionally fair, friendly, and respectful in a way that I unfortunately do not experience everywhere! I am super happy with Dr. Rahkil Maizel, she is knowledgeable and direct, but also super soft and sweet. I have also seen certified nurse midwife, Dr. Amanda Mondesir, who I absolutely love! She knows her stuff and is also very real, honest, and compassionate. Highly recommend these doctors for women's health and general care. Also, they work with you on getting you an appointment as soon as you need! If you are initially told there are no appointments, call back later in the day after 3pm and there may be cancellations for the following day.
Hate it here. The doctor is rough and doesn't listen. She makes you hold down your kid when they are already scared. We are switching. Do not come here
waiting time is absolutely horrible everytime i make my appointment i have to call out of work because no matter how early i make it the wait is always at least an hour and a half shouldnt they have appointment organization ?
This is about the worst clinic I've ever been to. I'm a cardiac patient. They refused to help me with heart and blood pressure medication prescriptions. Doctor told me to go to an emergency room!
Just a few of my experiences. I came in suffering from asthma. I was told to take Claritin and a rescue inhaler and it should "clear up." Eventually I ended up in the hospital. Another time I was 5 months pregnant and the Dr was concerned about my increased size (large for 5 months) I came in for a scheduled sonogram. I waited 5+ hours only to be told that my Dr never put me on the list with the technician. So I would have to come back for the same Dr appointment again to be put on the list. The ladies tried to tell me she is very thorough. No, she was double booked. So I come back for the same appointment only to wait 4+ hours and be yelled at by my Dr. because she asked how far along and I said 5 months. She yelled No in weeks! At that point I should have left but I needed the sonogram. Then she told me I'm "probably fine" and don't need the sonogram. Thank god everything was fine. But she should have made sure. Eventually I took the time to find a new doctor who didn't make me feel as if I was part of a herd of cattle. These were only TWO of my experiences within 3 years. My only regret is that I didn't look for a better doctor after the first trip.
